Life Skills

​Play teaches children knowledge of language systems, and the ability to interact with others. When a child plays in a pretend kitchen with pretend food, they are imitating and making sense of what they see in their world. When they take care of a stuffed animal or cover a baby with a blanket, they are learning how to take care of others.  Children can learn through play and imitation.
